Program Goals

VHM aims to assist women willing to commit themselves to personal, educational, and life skills goals that will move them out of cycles of poverty to positive growth, self reliance and permanent housing.

We invest heavily in each participant and want to empower them to reach their goals now and in the future.

After-School Enrichment Program

Children are at the heart of a mother's need to change. We are proud to be a dual-generational program. To serve the children in our program, we provide an Afterschool Enrichment Program.

All school-aged children must participate in the Afterschool Enrichment Program, which concentrates on identifying and addressing the children's personal and academic challenges. The program works on a curriculum that encourages growth in all child development areas.
